what we do to make us feel better....

What a day....Tuesdays are my hardest days and it has nothing to do with what happens at school. It's all because of how long this day is!! I leave campus at 4 and head West... to Denton...to the University of North Texas for my Qualitative Research Class.... this is my LAST CLASS for my PhD... thank GOD! Now I just have to make it through the first week of May and I can head EAST (about 5000 miles) to do my dissertation research next fall at the University of Copenhagen.....and then I will finally graduate! Again.. THANK GOD! So after a horribly long day of working from 7am to 4pm and then driving an hour to sit for three hours so I can drive back home for another hour... I am sitting here, reverting to my childhood...

The DVD player has one of the best movies of the 80s in it Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
and I am sitting here, beer in hand, wearing my most comfy sweats, waiting for this really hot Danish guy to wake up for our nightly online date!!

11pm in Texas = 6am in Denmark.... We get to talk for an hour-- before he goes to work and before I go to sleep and it is always the best hour of my day.

So here I sit with my two favorite boys, Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
lost in the 80s, waiting for my #1 man to wake up for our "date"!

My task for the rest of my night is to pack...not for my trip to DK (which is in 8 days!!) but for my trip to the IB conference in Houston on Friday with my #1 girl, Shelly! That town will never be the same! I am sure we will have all kinds of pics and stories to post! But I have to pack for Houston now , since I won't be home Thursday night...since that is the night of my first private DANISH TUTORING SESSION!!! Will write more about that later......

awe, your two furry boys are so sweet! Do they get to make the trip to DK too?

Your day makes me tired just reading it. I can't imagine what it must feel like to do it! Denton is such a far drive to go after work and at night. YUCK.
