At 6:45 this morning the love of my life left Denmark and left me together with her two "home-boys" AKA Mr. Einstein and Mr. Smith. After Albert and I have said goodbye to Kelli and came back home from the airport, he was very upset and I had a hard time making him relax. After I a have tryed to make him relax for an hour, I could see that nothing helped, so I decided to call my boss and ask if it was alright for me to take the day off to spend the day with Albert and Emmitt ... and it was! :o)
Here is how Albert looked like when we got home from the airport ...
I decided soon after these pictures was taken that is was time to get out of the house, so Albert and I could get our minds on something else. The forest came to mind and that's where we went ...

After the forest ALbert and I went to my parents house for lunch and Albert got spoilt rotten by my mom and dad ... just take a look!

After the lunch at mom and dad, we (I) decided to go viset the horses that we did yesterday together with Kelli. There was not so many horses today, but insted this little fellow came alonge. A woman was out walking her dog too ... a little puppy! That little puppy thought that Albert was he's mom, so he went straight to ALbert's "willy", because the little puppy thought it was Alberts TIT!

... He was not happy! LOL :o) After this "little accident" we decided to go home, but before we hit Haraldsgade 1, Albert asked me to take a picture to his "mama" to show her that he have driven a car in Denmark before she did LOL :o)

Now the three boys are back together on Haraldsgade 1 and things are much much better than it was this morning ... Just look at Albert and I. He is totally relaxed and is back to his old self again.

... Emmitt is ofcause OK too! With him it is just like he is saying: What is the big deal? Mom is coming back in 7 weeks! Albert and I know he is right, but I think that we are the ones being sorry and sade for the three of us ... eventhough I know that Emmitt is missing he's mom too ... He is just good at hidding it :o)

Welcome back to Dallas baby ... We miss you so very much!

Well im glad that the boys are making it over there with out mom... i bet they will be excited to see her on skype!! and in 7 weeks!!
Oh my gosh, those first two pictures of Albert staring out the windows are so sad!!I can hear him thinking, "Mommy, where are you??"
How sweet of you to take the day off to stay with them. I'm sure it was nice for Albert to get out and do something...
The little puppy story is HILARIOUS!! Poor Albert.
Mads you are too cool!! I am glad you figured out how to help Albert out. Good job! I know your support will make Albert's mom very proud!
By the way, Michael and I were wondering if Albert showed any signs of jet lag. Did he?
I think Albert is ready to go from riding in the basket to driving his own car. lol
That last picture of Albert asleep is adorable. He's been busy the past couple days and it's finally caught up to him. Now, it's Emmitt's turn to explore while Albert naps. :-)
I am so glad that they boys are gaining such a good daddy! That is really sweet that you took the day off for them. A lot of husbands would not take the day off for their wife because she was sad, let alone her dogs! WOW...I'm SUPER impressed!
Kelli is lucky to have a man that loves her so much - you were wonderful with "the boys" today! Seven weeks will go by fast and you will be here to take her to her new home before you know it! Hang in there Kel! love ya -
Okay, okay, we have to admit that you made these two old ladies cry! We think that you must be the sweetest, most caring man in the world. Kelli, you are one lucky girl! What a precious post!
Kelli agrees..... took me a long time to find this incredible man, but I can tell you one thing... I will never let him go!!
How did Day 2 go with the boys? Hopefully each day gets better.
Our day 2 was good ... I got home for lunch to walk ALbert and he was all over me and also when I returned from work in the afternoon - very happy to see me. This morning he is sitting here right next to me, knowing that I am about to leave for work, but he is calm because he knows that when I get home from work this afternoon, I will have four days off work. Thursday and Friday are national holidays! Emmitt is great too ... as usual he is minding he's own bussines and comes out from he's hidding places when he needs to eat or snuggle :o)
That was the sweetest post! It is wonderful that you took the day off to make Albert feel reassured. What a good Dad you are! :)
