Everyday I find more things and more people who are helping me to connect America with Denmark. My family and friends are learning more and more about Denmark to show them how my life will be when I move in June. The people in my life make this cartoon false because they KNOW ALL ABOUT DENMARK!!
We all laugh and joke about the new things I will experience in Denmark....such as me on a bike in a dress and boots! But I know and my family knows I have an open mind and I will learn to adapt. I found something on the "Foreigners in Denmark" homepage called "You know you have lived in Denmark too long when....." so maybe after I live there for several months, I might do a few of the things on the list! Take a look! (remember...the site is in English so I translated it! I hope it is right!)

#2.... such as a LIGHTER!
Wes's license plate is "Hygge" :)
He has yet to find a Dane in AZ to get the reference.
Kelli, if you are interested in the World's Best Cornbread, go to www.winecountrykitchens.com. You will find that you can order it on line if you like. It really is good stuff. The reason that Ellen and Sharon like it so much is that it has real corn in it, but it is really easy to make. Enjoy these last few weeks as you make your preparations to head to Denmark. Hugs to you!
There is a list of about 100 of these floating around the internet. All just as hysterical.
My favorite on this list is #5 because it is so true. And when we were in back in Texas it took me a while to warm up to everyone smiling at me, looking at me or trying to say hi. lol.
