Denmark in a "Joachim & Marie" stand-still ...

Today is the big day for our Prince Joachim and he's new wife, Marie Cavallier ... now Pricess Marie of Denmark. They got married this afternoon and is now having there wedding party at there Castle, Schackenborg Castle.

I know that I said in my previous post that I had to see my team, FC Midtjylland play this afternoon too, but I must admit that it ended with me watching more of the wedding , than the soccer game :o) Between 2 - 2½ million Danes are estimated to sit infront of the TV today watching the Royal wedding. For your information we are 5.5 million people living in Denmark ... Pretty impressive, huh !?!

In honer of Prince Joachim & Princess Marie every Danish flag in Denmark is up and I am also one of these people having a Danish flag. What some of you don't know is that I got "The Lone Star Flag" for Christimas last year and to honer and to celebrete this special day together with my family and friends from the great state of Texas, I decited to do this:
I hope that you all like it ... :o)

I think the two flags look wonderful side by side. I hope they will continue to fly in honor of another important marriage - our yellow rose and the Great Dane! Love ya - Dee

The picture of Albert w/ the 2 flags makes me think Albert should be the star of a children's book - Where in the World is Albert? And Emmitt could be his sidekick lol

The flags look great and so does the backyard... good job Mads! :-)
