(For resten ...

1. I heard from Oxford University yesterday and unfortunately, I am not their newest employee. It is ok, though, because a job with 3 days a week to travel is maybe not the best job for mine and Mads´ life.
2. Almost every office in Denmark is close during Weeks 28, 29 and 30 for summer holiday. (By the way... In Denmark, everything is referred to as "Week #___" and the week begins with Monday.) Yesterday was the first day of Week 29, so this weekend I am beginning my "Job Hunt". I will send my CV to every open job in Jutland I believe is a possibility so when the offices open again Week 31, they have my CV in front of them! (And just in case I cannot find something, the Holstebro Kommune needs a cook! LOL)
3. Jess and Stephen arrive in Denmark next week.... nothing else is important right now.

Good luck. I wish you all the best.
Hej Kelli -
Oxford Uni lost, but I'm glad you're not going to lose your positive spirit and motivation! I'm sure you're going to find the job that fits your new life w/ Mads and not make you fit your job.
Exciting news with your next house guests... I'm glad Nichole and Michael could be your guinea pigs lol
With these upcoming important visitors, I think you should double the Dannebrog. :-)
The job that is a perfect fit is still out there! You're doing the absolute right thing by getting your CV to every possibility and finding the perfect match!
Sorry about the job, but it's great you have such a positive attitude and spirit I am sure something better will be right around the corner.
Sending you job hunting vibes :)
How long did it take for you to get your work visa after you applied for it?
Oxford's lost may be your gain. I believe there is something much better waiting for you - you just don't know what it is right now. Just enjoy this time getting settled in your new home and enjoying your husband. Trust me on this because as you know "moms are always right."
7 more days 7 more day whoot!!!
Hey Kelli, Thanks for popping by my blog... started reading yours... I am so impressed that you take the time to write in both English & Danish.. You are going to have to fill me in on the rest of the story... How you ended up in Denmark?... From where in Texas? How you are keeping that super peppy attitude? Hope some of it rubs off on me. My excuse is that it is much better to live in Denmark..rather than Norway... (like I would know) Looking forward to getting more about you! Tressa
I wouldn't worry about that job. I think the travelling sounds good but after six months would be a drag. Don't worry, it's out there somewhere - I know!
I am so excited for you that Jess is headed your way next week. I know y'all are going to have so much fun just hanging out in Denmark this summer!
How WONDERFUL for you that your daughter is coming to visit you!! (Is Stephen her boyfriend?)
I hope you have a great time together all of you.
Sorry to hear about the job but 3 days a week does seem long to be away from a new husband and home in a strange country. Something better will come along.
