De sidste få dage ... The last few days

I cannot believe it... I have only been in Denmark for 24 days, but I have met many many people, traveled many many places and have seen many many things! I have learned how to drive the car (YES!!!) and have learned my way around Herning. Now I only need to find a job! :o)

On Tuesday, my mother in law took me and my niece, Rebecca, to Skarildhus....in another very lovely forest near Herning. I am so lucky because she shows me so many beautiful, but hidden, places and Skarildhus is one of them!

On Wednesday Mads and I drove to Søndervig to visit his friends, Allan and Marianne and their son Magnus in their beach house. Allan and Marianne are from Denmark, but they are living in Luxembourg now. In fact, we are going to visit them in Luxembourg next month! It was a great day and the both of them were so genuine and I felt very comfortable with them! We drove to White Sands and bought fresh fish for dinner while I cooked for everyone! While I made dinner, Mads and Allan played!

On Thursday we worked in the house to be ready for our first HOUSEGUESTS´ arrival, Michael and Nichole! I will write tomorrow about our WONDERFUL WEEKEND WITH THEM!! Mads and I made the guest room ready for them and Mads hung up our two new ceiling fans! Now it is OK if we don´t have airconditioning in Denmark! I am very happy with them!

Sounds like you are adjusting well to Denmark. I completely agree with adjusting to no air. :) Where did you find out ceiling fans. Martin and I were looking all over for them and couldn't really find any?

Skarildhus looks like another great place to take Albert for walks. It so great you've been able to take advantage of these past 24 days to see so much and get more acquainted w/ your new life.

I think Mads and Allan should have a time limit on the trampoline ;-)

How did you not mention the beer and trampoline to us this weekend?

Skarildhus is so pretty and picturesque. I love that every corner you turn in Denmark there is something amazing!

I hadn't noticed the beer in his hand on the trampoline! It doesn't seem like a great combination! But it does look fun.

Skarildhus looks like a beautiful place!
