GODE NYHEDER! GOOD NEWS!

Denne er en LYKKELIG pige! This is one HAPPY girl!

After a weekend filled with RAIN, RAIN, and more RAIN, and very chilly wind, I am very happy with this week´s forecast!

Monday 68°F sunny and dry
Tuesday 70°F sunny and dry
Wednesday 73°F sunny and dry
Thursday 81°F sunny and dry

After ten days washing and drying all our plates, cups, glasses, bowls, knives, forks, and spoons by hands, the new dishwasher came this morning! And I really love how polite Danish repairmen are! They ALWAYS take off their shoes before coming in the house!

I dag, kører min svigermor og jeg til BILKA for at købe alting for at få klar for Jess og Stephens ankomst....fordi de skal være i Danmark i 72 timer!!! Jeg er MEGET MEGET SPÆNDT!
Today my mother in law and I are driving to BILKA to buy all the things I need for Jess and Stephen´s arrival...because they will be here in 72 hours! I am VERY VERY excited!

Yay for the new dishwasher, but don't trust the weatherman THAT much, you know what they say in Denmark:

"If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes..."

Is that your daughter? Don't people take off shoes in the States as well?

funny how a little sun can make everything OK in Scandinavia! Your daughter is beautiful..(just like her mama) Sure y'all are going to have a great time!

They take off their shoes??? That's amazing.

Congrats on the new D/W. Though I spent the first nine years of our married-with-children life doing dishes by hand 3x/day, I couldn't imagine life without one now.

I'm totally spoiled.

And I covet your knife rack and knives.

I love that you have been here 1 month and you already get why everyone rushes outdoors the second the sun is shining...because it honestly is, such a rarity.

Glad you have a dishwasher again!

Yay! Enjoy the good weather. I wish it were like that here in NYC. It's 95 degrees (more with all the concrete) and ridiculously humid= YUCK! Stickyness.
Enjoy your visit with your daughter :)

I can't believe you are so spoiled - don't you remember the days when we didn't have a dishwasher and we did them by hand? That does seem like YEARS ago. Jess is here today and we will enjoy her for a couple of days before she heads across the ocean! Glad you finally have sunshine - that would definitely perk me up! love ya!

Though the new dish washer is quite stylish and chic, I think the older, manual dishwasher standing next to it is even more stylish! *ggg*
