Herning er henvise til som "En Tekstil By" fordi mange mennesker har boet i Herning for at arbejde med det tekstil firmaer. I går, tog Taimi mig på en tur i Herning for at vise til mig om tekstilerne i Herning. Det var forbløffende for at se så mange ting... stof i HVER farve og tegning du kan forestille og vægger fuld med "millionvis" af vlynlåser og tråde. Hvis kun jeg kunne sy!!
Herning is referred to as "A Textile City" because many people have lived in Herning to work with the textile companies. Yesterday, Taimi took me on a tour of Herning to show me about the textiles in Herning. It was amazing to see so many things...fabric in EVERY color and design you can imagine, and walls filled with "millions" of zippers and thread. If only I could sew!!

For some reason, old-fashioned factories fascinate me. I drove to Rochester NY a month ago and I took a lot of pics of the huge Kodak factory.
Oh...Rainbow Brite would be salivating over that zipper wall!
I like how they skip the packaging B.S. Here in America they wrap them up in all these tight little packages. Seems much more organic the Danish way!
ok, Nettie has a great point that I did not even realize! NONE of the zippers were in packaging... totally natural... no waste!
