Mads and I had dinner on Saturday at the home of Monica and Finn. (Remember...Monica moved to Herning from Michigan with her three children in July and we met through mutual friends.) Our dinner and our conversation was awesome... it felt like we have been friends for a long time! And I MUST tell about our food... everyone had roast and potatoes, except Finn made a special vegetarian dish for me! It was an incredible surprise!! After dinner, we received instructions from Monica´s daughter to come upstairs in five minutes. We had no idea why....
While the four adults ate, Monica´s three kiddoes and Finn´s son had created a show for us! We LOVED IT! They sang, they danced and the most incredible thing was... they made this show together, after only having each other as brothers and sisters since July! IT WAS PRECIOUS! Mads and I are sure we will have many, many more times with their family!
Phillip (Finns 11 årig søn) var IKKE genert!
Phillip, (Finn´s 11 year old son) was NOT shy!
Bailey og Sophie (Monicas 10 årig og 5 årig døtre) synge "Høj Skole Musikal" FØR håret...
Bailey and Sophie (Monica´s 10 year and 5 year old daughters) sing "High School Musical" BEFORE the hair....
Mere syngning EFTER håret ... More singing AFTER the hair!
Max (Monicas 8 årig søn) "brække" danser til USHER! (og du kender jeg elskede hans skjorte!)
Max (Monica´s 8 year old son) break dances to USHER! (and you know I loved his shirt!)

Her family is precious - looks like a good time was had by all - especially the kids! I'm sure she is glad to have found an American friend.
Is she biting her thumb at you? I hope she's not a Capulet or Montague!
What a fun way to end the evening!
It seems like this family and you are going to have many happy memories together.
How hilarious...the thumb biting thing! I assure you I am NOT a Capulet or Montague!
We had a wonderful evening, and look forward to many more!
As for the thumb biting...maybe it is a sign of regression? Who knows, but it sure looks funny! ;)
The best part of this photo is most certainly NOT me!
