mere Chicago at se ... more Chicago to see

Vi elsker Grand Lux Cafe så meget, at vi bestemmede at have morgenmad der i lørdags! Denne tid, havde vi en synspunkt af Michigan Avenue!
We love Grand Lux Cafe so much, that we decided to have breakfast there on Saturday! This time, we had a view of Michigan Avenue!

Jeg spiste en nyt fad, "Chilequilies"....og det SMAGER GODT!
I had a new dish, "Chilequilies"....and it was amazingly delicious!

Vi udforskede State Street i aftes og indkøbte i den originel "Marshall Fields and Co", med 8 niveau af indkøbning!
We explored State Street last night and shopped at the original "Marshall Fields and Co", with 8 floors of shopping!

Vi fandt en "Target" butik fordi jeg havde en list af amerikansk ting jeg har brug for i Danmark! Efter vi indkøbte niveau 1, kender vi ikke hvor at tage vores kasse ovenpå!
We found a Target store because I had a list of American things I need in Denmark! After we shopped level 1, we did not know how to get our cart upstairs!

Tid at tjekke ud fra vores hotel og har en sidst dag i byen hvor alle salgmennesker spørger os hvis vi er søstre! Jeg elsker Chicago...
Time to check our of our hotel and have our last day in the city where all the salespeople ask us if we are sisters! I love Chicago...

The escalator for the shopping cart is super cool. I've never seen anything like that before!

Funny about the sister comment. NQDII is sitting here and he said, 'Is she her sister?' :)

Another thing. Years ago in Melbourne, I worked with some people from...NYC. They used to say Chicago was a lovely place to live - which I'd always assumed it wasn't - but obviously it is?

wow...I wonder if people leave their kids in the cart, too.

Hi Kelli... I'm glad you had a great & special time w/ Jess in "you city." I like your new haircut - You look great!

It's funny about the Target store.... we have one here in Virginia, as well. And yes, I was guilty of taking a pic of it w/ my phone and sending it to ppl. It's funny how it goes up by itself like that.

Safe trip for both of you on your way back.

Those shopping cart "escalators" are a great idea!! You two are hard to keep up with. We are glad you had a special weekend together!
