Jeg bestod! I passed!

Min mundtlig esksamen blev RIGTIG GOD!
Del 1:

My speaking exam went GREAT!
Part 1:
Each student came to the exam with 5 things ready to talk about as a monologue...3 books or articles we have read and written about plus 2 projects we have made. I brought 3 articles from my "Fit Living" Danish Women´s Magazine--#1 was about Yoga, #2 was about Things that women stress about and #3 was about a Danish woman who could not become pregnant. The teacher gave us 5 pieces of papir with numbers 1 through 5 on them and we had to choose 1 piece without knowing what numbers they were. My number was "project #2--MY BLOG"! Can you believe it?! She asked us to talk for two minutes about our project.... I talked FIVE minutes! It went better than I ever expected!

Del 2:

Part 2:
We talked with a partner about a subject she chose from 6 choices--like an interview. I asked my partner about "a place you love" and she asked me about "my grandparents". Everything was perfect, except when I started to cry as I talked about MoMo....but I kept talking, and I think she was proud, looking down on me, from heaven.

A surprise:
Before today, I had never met the teacher who gave the exam to our class. When I finished my monologue, she told me "You do not sound like you come from the south! I know, from your accent, that you come from America, but you speak really well!" My smile was VERY LARGE after her comment! Now, I am finished with Module 2, and moving to Module 3 on Monday! Thanks for all the crossed fingers and good thoughts!

Woohoo!! Told ya so ;)

You know, you should ask them how soon you can take the module 3 test because, believe me, you could pass it today. It's only reading and writing on the mod 3 test - both of which you can do extemely well.

I'm not surprised you passed with flying colors...you always do! Maybe the next module will be easier - I hope so for your sake.

Congratulations! What an accomplishment! You must be quite proud of yourself! We KNOW Mads is probably grinning from ear to ear that his Texan girl has become so proficient in his language.
