2. Verdenskrig Historie i Danmark ... WW2 History in Denmark

Did you know that when you drive about 45 minutes from almost any point in Denmark, you can see the sea? Today we drove west 45 minutes where my mom and dad saw the North Sea for the first time. I had told them about the WW2 bunkers which are still standing on the beaches of Denmark, and I was so excited to see my dad's reaction them. The weather was PERFECT in West Jutland today, so we had a great trip to Ringkøbing, Søndervig and White Sand. I had a work appointment while we were in Ringkøbing, so I left them to shop while I went to my meeting. They shopped ON THEIR OWN IN DENMARK for an hour...and survived!

These are so cool and amazing. I'm glad they got the chance to see them along with the North Sea!

Amazingly enough - our parents do seem to be able to survive without us! ;-)

Nice photos.
