This afternoon I drove to Kolding, about 90 kilometers south of Herning because I had a teaching job in Kolding. I took several windmill photos along my drive because I think it is amazing to drive along the roads of Denmark, with windmills all around me.
But today, with 90 kilometers ahead of me, my opinion about windmills changed a little. I love to see windmills in the fields and on the hills, but after driving 40 km/hr behind a truck carrying part of a windmill tower, I was not so excited about windmills!
Hello! I found your blog via Nifty Adventures. I lived in Aalborg for a year and married a Danish guy. We moved back to my hometown (suburbs of Washington DC) back in 2004. We try to make it back to Denmark at least once or twice a year.
Anywho...I know exactly what you mean about windmills. I have many photos that look similar to yours, because I can never get enough of them!
I look forward to reading more of your blog. I think it's really cool you do it in both Danish and English. I am great at reading Danish, but speaking and writing are not my strong points.
