En gåde til jer ... A riddle for y´all

Hvad har disse ting til fælles?
What do these things have in common?

If you said, "Kelli got a job at Herning Gymnasium"... YOU ARE RIGHT!

I received a full-time job offer from Herning Gymnasium (read this link so you know what I gymnasium is... it is not a fitness center! lol)on Friday as they would like to offer International Baccalaurete Diploma Programme in their school....and they asked me to be their IB Coordinator! For now, while I am writing our very large application to I.B.O., I will teach two classes of English so that I have a full time schedule. After we receive I.B´s approval, I will become a full time coordinator of the program. During my last six years in the Texas school system, I worked with I.B., so it is a program that I know well and in which I believe!

I began TODAY as the IB Coordinator, and will begin my English classes January 5th. Oh, and have I mentioned..... Herning Gynmasium is 3.5km from my house?! I am "back in the saddle again!" Og it feels great!

My school in CA began the IB process a couple of years ago...but funding has put it on hold for now. IB sounds like a great program.

And I now see that you are starting to mix up your English and Danish with that last sentence. :-) Peter does it all the time.

It's a looong time ago, but as far as I remember, I graduated in 1992. I was in 3z. :)

I went to their homepage and can see two of my favourite teachers are still there:
Annette Koldkjær Højlund (who insisted that we speak "ty-de-ligt og ar-ti-ku-le-ret and who'd stamp our written assignments with a red skull-stamp for inexcusable grammar mistakes)

and

Jens Ole Skovgaard Sørensen (who would SHOUT out his lessons and whack inattentive students over the head with his pointer)
