Jager vindmøller ... Chasing windmills

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day in Midtjylland with SUN and blue skies! Since sunshine is not so normal during Danish winter, I completely enjoy "sunshiny" days! I worked in Holstebro this morning (about 30 km. north of Herning), but when I drove back home, mmy 3o minute drive took more than an hour.....because I became Don Quixote ....chasing windmills.

My favorite things about driving in Denmark are windmills. I know that they are not special to everyone, but I think the are AMAZING! Each time I see one, I am reminded about how important and powerful our natural resources are....and I am reminded about Denmark´s plan to be 100% green by 2050. I never get tired of seeing windmills, and I am never get tired of taking pictures of them....especially on a beautiful day like today! I drove on many dirt roads in many small villages today as I took "the long way" back to Herning. I hope that others enjoy and appreciate the windmills like I do! I know that Don Quixote would!

Great pics! At least you aren't tilting at the windmills with trusty sidekick at your side...

Every time I see a windmill now, I always think, Kelli would love this and take a picture of it!

I'm sending a friend to your blog as she's publishing a book, "Going green in good for business," and I didn't realize that Denmark had made that plan by 2050. Great news!

It is also a beautiful day in Texas. We have had cold, rain & fog for the past several days and it reminded me of Denmark. Today is 70 degrees and Dad is playing golf. I never get tired of the windmill pictures - love ya!

I love the windmills too. Have you ever gone right up close to one? They are HUGE! The green-nes of Dk is so cool.

I love the pictures - you did a great job capturing all different windmills. I'm glad you enjoyed your "long way" drive home. :-)
