Since we have so many cold, dark, and wet days in Denmark, as soon as the sun comes out, all the Danes come out as well. People go on walks with their dogs, children run in the park, and couples are seen hand in hand, enjoying the sun....if only for a few minutes. Days without sun help us to appreciate those moments when we see the sun again!

It is gloriously frosty and sunny here. Bliss!
It is amazing how the sun zaps you with an energy you just don't have on those cold and dark days...it's kinda weird, but so is living in the dark most of the winter...
It's like this in Seattle too. And every district has a festival during the summer. One of the things I like.
