My parents arrived in Texas at 1.15pm (Texas time) yesterday....with 2/3 suitcases!
Fortunately, the airport found the missing suitcase in Amsterdam, so it is coming on today´s flight. They promised my mom that they will deliver it to their house today. What an adventure!
I want to say, here on my blog, a public THANKS to my parents for their visit. I know many many "Expats" who have lived in another country several years withough a visit from their American families, so I am so THANKFUL for the last ten days! And now, mom and dad are experts in International Travel (and missing luggage) so I am sure we will see them in Denmark again!
However, I must tell one thing on them.... I think they were really glad to be in Texas again, because on their way home yesterday, the first thing they did---stopped for food---fajitas from ABUELO´S Mexican Restaurant! Welcome home mom and dad!

Missing luggage is never fun:|
Glad they had a great time. It's always nice to travel, but even nicer to get home!
I think it's just an american thing to eat...and American food is great, you can't get mexican here like you can in Texas...it's not the same!!! So I can understand your parents choice..glad you had such a great time with them!!!
Enjoyed our trip sooooo much! The food in Denmark was good, but when we hit Texas soil, Mexican food was calling our name. Those were the best fajitas & queso I have ever had. We need to go on a diet after eating all the Danish breads and drinking all the beer & wine. Our tummys need a break. Love ya!
