Før Mads mødte mig, syntes han at morgenmad var morgenmad! Den første gang at jeg forslog til Mads at vi har morgenmad for aftensmad, kiggede han på mig som om jeg var tosset...... til han smagte det!!! Nu, har vi "morgenmad for aftensmad" ofte....og han faktisk anmoder det!!
Before Mads met me, he thought that breakfast was breakfast! The first I suggested to Mads that we have breakfast for dinner, he looked at me like I was crazy....until he tasted it! now we have "breakfast for dinner" on a regular basis.....and he actually requests it!
Sommetider har vi "hash browns", "juevos rancheros", bacon og ristet brød.

Jeg undrer hvis andre danskerne ville prøve en "sydlig morgenmad" for aftensmad?? Jeg vil holde jer orienteret!
I wonder if other Danes would be willing to try a "southern breakfast" for dinner?? I will keep you posted !

My boyfriend often criticises me for having dinner for breakfast. He doesn't know that fried rice (nasi goreng in my language) is a popular breakfast dish. He thinks it looks more like a dinner dish. Danes! *rolls eyes*
OH MY GOSH- YUM!!!! I'm going to have breakfast for dinner one night this week...that looked TOO GOOD!! Now, how do you make your eggs? Rancho whato?? hahahaha...I'm hungry- have to go find something to eat now....have a great Saturday!!!

The Danes don't know what they are missing. Dad & I had pancakes & bacon on Thurday night and it was delicious.

I sort of changed Kenneth's eating habit as well when I'm there. I make delicious Asian food almost every day...but they're a bit too spicy for him:p

Danes never eats something like this for breakfast, they eat cereals and maybe some bread.
That's probably why Mads thought it was strange to eat breakfast for dinner.
To a Dane the food in the pictures is not breakfast.
Mmmm...breakfast burritos for dinner are common for us too. Actually, breakfast for dinner is always a treat. Great pics. As an aside, what is it with Anon? I'll make the assumption Anon is the same person commenting on several of the expat sites given the tone of the messages.
LOL...oh this is so much like me and Peter!! I have had to break him of so many of his stodgy Danish traditions....breakfast for dinner being one of them.

Lucky you. Dougie loves dinner foods for breakfast (leftover pizza, enchiladas, lasagna, fish & veggies, salad), but absolutely cannot tolerate breakfast foods for dinner.
Evidently he resented it when his mother "got lazy" and fixed them cereal or pancakes or scrambled eggs for dinner back when he was a kid. (Obviously, there are other issues there ;-))
Back when our girls were little, he traveled 4-5 days every month for his job. The girls and I had BREAKFAST for dinner every single day he was gone!!!
