Texas radio....

DOG......

I am almost always glad for things that come to Denmark from America. Things such as movies, books, food, news and music. In fact, I have my own personal list of things that I would like to have in Denmark from my "American life" that would make things seem as if I have the best of both worlds! HOWEVER.....

Although I am from Texas, I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a country girl. I like popular country music, like Rascal Flatts , but I do not like the old time country music like Willie Nelson.

As I drove home from Kolding Thursday night, I realized that although I would like to have SOME things from America, I definitely do not want EVERYTHING ! Watch and listen.... (and you will see from the video that it is being shot in Denmark, but what you hear on the radio will tell you something different!)

Many years ago I had a Danish au pair in Texas. She worked as a dj in Denmark, so when she went home, she took Garth Brooks with her to share with the Danes. Why?? Why??!!

I couldn't see the video, but I know what you mean. Every country has good and bad points.

Too funny!

When I lived in Norway, one of my norwegian friends gave me a Kenny Rogers cassette for my birthday.
Now noticed I said cassette, b/c it was way back in the day, when pergaps Mr. Rogers was a popular guy...and didnt look so weird like he does now..
But still, it was like..." Ummm thanks, Kenny Rogers. " And it wasnt even his greatest hits!! But some kind of off the wall pirated crap. I guess he thought since I was from Texas, I would know when to hold them and know when to fold them.
