Citat af dagen.... Quote of the Day

Efter en lang tur igennem midtjylland, ankom vi hjem til en flot viking som lavede traditionel dansk mad til pigerne.

After a long trip throughout Midtjylland today, we arrived home to a handsome Viking who had made traditional Danish food for the girls.

Han lavede danske pølser, danske kartofler salat og danske frikadeller og han viste Nettie og Lucy "hvordan man skulle lave en traditionel dansk hot dog"!

He made Danish sausages, Danish potato salad, and Danish frikadeller (special type of meat balls) and then he showed Nettie and Lucy how to "create your own traditional Danish hot dog"!

Citat af dagen kom efter Nettie smagte hendes første frikadella....(og jeg tænker at jeg vil lave en tshirt med citat på det!)

The quote of the day came after Nettie tasted her first frikadella (and I think I might get this made into a tshirt!)
"Frikadeller er FREAKING gode!"
"Frikadeller are FREAKING good!!

HHAHHA....yes, that would be a GREAT T-shirt!!

My family here love it when I make frikadeller, too.

You are soooo lucky you have a handsome Viking that cooks! I am still waiting for mine to take me out for our anniversary dinner...and our anniversary was April 14th!!!

Great idea for the tshirt! and I'm so glad you're having so much fun w/ your friends' visit. And great how Mads can share/surprise with Danish foods :-)

I had frikadella w red cabbage (I think was the other topping) on smørrebrød.... I have to study the different combinations for smørrebrød after I master some more of the dansk language. Great pictures of Mads and your friends!
