Texas skilte... Texas signs....

Så mange ting ses imens du kører langs med de Texas vej..... Interessante ting, sjov ting, og ting som gør dig RYSTER DIT HOVED.... Vi kørte kun 3 timer i mandags men jeg tog mange billeder...her ligger få...

So many things are seen while you drive along the Texas roads....Interesting things, funny things, and things which make you SHAKE YOUR HEAD....We only drove three hours on Monday, but I took many pictures.... here are a few....

"Hej W!" Vi bestemmede at vi ikke havde tid for at besøge ham men vi vinkede så vi kørte ved...
"Hi W!" We decided that we did not have time to visit him, but we did wave as we drove by....

HVORFOR?!?! Vi kalder det "1 stop shop" i Texas!
Why???!! We call this a "1 stop shop" in Texas!

Vidste du at "cowboy" er en verbum!? Det er i Texas!
Did you know that "cowboy" is a verb? It is in Texas!

Hvem valgte dette navn??!!
Who chose this name??!!

og dette navn! "Possom Trot Ranch"?!!! Faktisk??!!
and this name! "Possom Trot Ranch"?!?! Seriously??!!

i Texas, kan du have en "1 stop shop" og en "1 stop spis" også!
Noget for alle medlemer i familien!

in Texas you can have a "1 stop shop", but you can also have a "1 stop eat" !
Something for the entire family!

Jeg elsker Texas fordi jeg kan altid finde så mange ting at gøre mig SMILER!
(og griner en smule!)
I love Texas because I can always find so many things that make me SMILE!
(and laugh just a little!)

Hilarious signs!

How on earth do you find enough vegetarian food to eat? Or maybe they just don't advertise it on the signs?

There is an undeniable originality in that state that is for sure! Everything going ok? Do you get homesick for Texas when you are there??? Remember to take pictures of Jess's new apartment for us after y'all are finished decorating it!! :-))

I like your mention of "1 stop eating" to coincide with "1 stop shopping." Great post... thanks for sharing smiles/laughs from Texas :-)

Okay...so, I don't know which way you travelled to College Station, but judging by your signs, I'm guessing you did not go 45 to Madisonville and over. You might check out that route on the way home. If you are coming from the eastern side of Dallas, it is much faster. I guess because you left from Stephenville the other route was faster. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of the other route though...

oh my gosh i love this. I'm from China Spring , the sign u took a pick of and Hog Creek ice house is an awesome place for food and beer.Too funny.
And the post about u taking time out on the weekends and not shopping. It's a combo. We still take it easy as we did in denmark but u also learn that it is also a part of our culture for stores to be open. So u can combine. I u go shopping u can take it easy cause u learned that there and u also tend to go do more outdoor activities too. Things u never knew existed here before.
