Vildeblomster ...Wildflowers

In Texas we have rules regarding flowers... You cannot just stop along the highway and pick wildflowers whenever you want... People do stop and take photos with the wildflowers, but they cannot bring the flowers home.

Things are a little different in Denmark... We have field and fields full of wildflowers... and as long as they are not private property, you can stop and pick them. Flowers from the florist smell great, but wildflowers smell even better! And like my blueberries from the forest, they are free!!

A huge field, full of DAISIES that we passed on Friday night...

Og det var ikke endnu en "Marguerite Vej"... and it was not even a "Queen Margaret Trail"....

Mine "vej side" daisies stå på bordet, klar for i morgens gæster! Kan du gætte hvem?!
My "roadside daisies" are on the table, ready for tomorrow´s guests! Can you guess who?

You are not allowed to pick wildflowers in Texas? I wonder if there's any good reason for this?

Btw. marguerit/margerit is the Danish word for the daisy flower.
"Margueritruten" is named after the marguerit (daisy flower).

Love the flowers, but I am getting curious about the painting in the background!

For Pete: The only wildflowers that you are not allowed to pick in Texas are Bluebonnets because they are the State Flower. Any others are OK to pick. There are many beautiful colors along the Texas roadways and as Kelli mentioned many people stop & take photographs in the flower fields.
