Et nyt hjem.... A new home

Jess´ new address for the next four years---College Station, Texas!
where she will live with her friend, Kayla, from the 8th grade!
A few things need some "girl power" and a pink screwdriver!

but now they have room for all their groceries!

The fridge is stocked, the apartment is decorated, Jess has a new job, and she has everything she needs for college....so now it is time for me to go back home....Her new life begins now....

Jeg håber kun at hun har mere timer her.....
I only hope that she spends more time here....
i stedet for her.... :o)
instead of here..... :o)
Mor sig, Jess! Vi er meget stolt af dig!
Have fun, Jess! We are so proud of you!

Saw the pics in fb. How cool an apartment can be? I would very much like to live in a place like that when I was still studying back then.

Cool place, best friends, girls party ... oops! I mean girls study group LOL

I'm trying to remember what that place "Daisy Dukes" was called when I was in college. I think it changed names/owners at least three times while I was down there!

All of this brings back so many great memories of my adventures down there. It is hard to believe that was a decade ago...seems like just yesterday.

Awesome pictures-- Jess will be glad you took those.

I think every college town has a "Daisy Dukes"... ours was called Little Bit Of Country when I was in Commerce.... now, are you ready for this... it's called the Drunken Mule!

I was looking for your blog post on pregnancy and couldn't find it. So now I understand what you mean about what it's like to say "goodbye" to a kid starting college. it makes sense. Good luck to Jess.

Her apartment looks nicer and bigger than my apartment. Sigh, if only Denmark were as cheap as texas.

hmm there is actually a restaurant called Daisy Dukes...
Man when the kids get their own place .... I think I need to mentally prepare to run into that one....
But I am sure she is going to do well and make her mom even prouder :-)

My baby cousin lives in College Station. He is a Sr. at A&M and I think he really likes that town. I take it that Blinn is a 2 year school?
My best friend and I moved in to an apartment in our Jr. year....Very fun...She is lucky!

What a great bachelorette pad! You never forget the feeling of your first apartment away from home. I still remember mine and drive by it every so often just to remember how fun it was to finally be out of the house. :-)
