Tegn på at efterår er kommet....Signs of fall....

Vi har tegn på at efterår er kommet overalt! Blade skifter farve.... børn tager deres jakke på når de leger udenfor.... og mørke kommer tidligere og tidligere....

We have signs of fall´s arrival everywhere! Leaves are changing their colors....the kids are wearing jackets when they are playing outdoors....and darkness comes earlier and earlier....

Men in Jylland har vi en flere ting som viser os at efterår er kommet.... Traffiken kører ofte meget langsomt men det er ikke fordi du kører bagefter en vindmøllerlastbil....

But in Jutland we have one additional thing that shows us that fall has arrived....Traffic often goes a little slower, but this time it is not because you are driving behind a windmill truck....

Kan du se vores anden tegn at efterår er kommet til jylland?
Can you tell what our other sign is that fall has come to Jutland?

Signs of Autumn in Denmark: Shops full of garish red and green 'Jul' tat.

Technically, Fall begins in early August in Denmark, and as of today, with the clocks going back, and nearly all the golden leaves fallen off the trees, and the boughs of the trees nearly totally exposed, we are in winter now.

Time for extra blankets on the beds!

Difficult one.. is it the potato harvest to see you through the winter? Or a massive delivery of those runde-breads?

Hmmm, I have no clue! But I do love the Fall in DK (when it is not windy and rainy!)...the colors are so beautiful.

Babs, i was thinking the same. I have two blankets on and my nose is still cold. I knew I got off the plane to winter because my fall jacket was much to thin. Ugh. Fall is just kicking up in NYC. I left on a day that was sunny and I could walk with just my shirt and jeans.
Whatevs. Is what it is.

I'm going with potatoes! OR...could it be refuse from the pig farms?! LOL Potatoes are much more pleasing!

I'm with Lady Fi on the potatoes. We went out to the farm today, and there is still some cabbage in the ground!!! They've gotta get that up before it starts freezing, I'd think. With the clocks back, it's now pitch black at 5:30 here in Oslo.

Winter is on its way!

I know fall has come to Dallas when I can start to keep my blinds open and not dimmed against the sun all of the time.

Looks like potatoes. Time to make snaps :-) If I recall correctly, the school's fall break was actually started so that the farmers kids could help harvest potatoes.

I thinking this is some type of manure...but not sure - probably from the pigs.
