Her kommer solen....Here comes the sun

I am certain that in 1969 the Beatles had no idea how powerful their lyrics would be in the future- especially to people who live in Scandinavia. We have not see the sun for at least eight days in Herning. It is dark until about 8am and for the last 8 days, the dark has been replaced by GREY. The sun goes down between 3 and 4 in the afternoon, but right now, it is just the "grey" that is going down....

But today we have seen the sun! It came out around 10 this morning and is STILL OUT! It is amazing how something so small as a little sunshine can you more energy and a good attitude about the day! But I cannot write more now because Albert has said that is necessary that we go to the forest as quickly as possible because we are not sure when the sunshine will show its face again!

Big thanks to George Harrison for these words....
Here comes the sun, doo da doo doo
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's alright

Little darling
It's been a long, cold, lonely winter
Little darling
It feels like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's alright

Little darling
The smiles returning to the faces
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's alright

Bet you never thought living in Scandinavia would make you appreciate the sun as much as you do? It's amazing how we take it for granted living in Texas...
Hope you enjoyed it and hope it comes back tomorrow...we're still in the grey zone but hopeful someday there will be blue skies and sunshine...it's out there somewhere...

The sun came out today here and I was almost shocked to see it. But you are completely right how it gives you that boost of energy and just makes you smile.

Funny thing: I was doing my Dansk hjemmearbejder and it was about the weather and said in fact Midtjylland gets the most rain in the whole of Denmark. It made me think of you.

I love this song! I actually used to sing it for Maxie when he was little and I was allowed to call him Maxie...but switched the words to "here comes my son"...ok, so it was a little corny...but he loved it! Thank the lord for the sunshine!! Amen sister!

You know you live in Scandinavia when you have to drop EVERYTHING to get outside when the sun is out!" LOL....
