Many representatives from just as many countries are meeting together in Copenhagen in 2 weeks in order to sit at the same table and talk about solutions for the world's climate problems. However this is not just a mere conversation, but rather a demand for ACTION!
The goal of the Danish government is that the COP15 conference in Copenhagen results in an ambitious global agreement that includes all the countries of the world. Every country must commit to doing SOMETHING extreme if we have any hope of preserving our world for our children and grandchildren.
For example- Denmark commits to increase its renewable energy use from 17% now to 20% in 2011 to 30% in 2020. What can other countries do?

Good post! I will be very active in several aspects of COP15 through the University. If all goes as planned I should be attending the big televised debate on Dec. 17. I am so excited!!
Lots of media coverage here in Sweden too about the conference. And quite a lot of focus on the US actually coming to an agreement with the rest of Europe and signing off on it...
