Danmark har meget skove langs med vejen og mennesker stopper ofte for en lille gåtur eller picnic. Men sommetider især i efteråret, stopper du og ser et skilt ligesom dette.
Denmark is covered with forests all along the roadways, and it is very common for people to just stop their car for a walk through the forest or a picnic lunch. However sometimes, especially in the fall, you stop and you see a sign like this one.
"Skoven er lukket, på grund af jagt."
"The forest is closed on account of a hunt."
Vidste du at skove kan blive "lukket"?

I didn't know they could close a forest, but it's kinda smart. The thing that scares me the most in the fall here is a hunter confusing one of my dogs for a deer and shooting...they walk around our house and everything with their guns..God forbid the miss and their bullet hits somewhere it's not suppose too. We were told when we bought the house they found bullets in the roof of the garage...SCARY! The former owner contacted the hunting group here and told them if he found more bullets he would report it to the police...and thankfully no more bullets but you see the hunters walk by with guns...freaks me out...so maybe a closed forest isn't such a dumb idea after all?
I've never seen that, however, if it's because someone is hunting, I suspect it's for the best!
LOL! Closing a forest! We do have signs here warning you that the military are having target practice...
