Winter lasts in Denmark a REALLY LONG TIME... it is our longest season. The sky is so grey, the sun rarely comes out, and this year we have had a massive amount of snow on the ground since the middle of December. In fact all the bloggers in Scandinavia are writing about Winter, Snow, Winter, Snow and more Winter these days because we have nothing else to talk about... :o)
And since we are forecasted to get even more snow tonight, I figured that before the landscape turned even whiter, I should share a few of my winter pics!

Albert actually LOVES walking in the snow in the dog forests.....even though the snow is taller than he is in some places!

The graveyard is so beautiful when it is covered with snow....

Sometimes Albert's sweater is the only flash of color in the forest....

But sometimes if you are really lucky, you come out from the darkness of the forest and you see something like this......

I love your winter shots. So lovely with sun on snow...
What a nice park, is this far from your house? It look fenced in and Albert is off leash- do you not have rules in Denmark about loose dogs? It's only allowed certain times of year to have dogs loose here.
You must be so proud of Albert adapting to the snow so well- coming from Texas!!!
This is one of the many hundeskov or dog forests in dk. They are all sections of forests that have been fenced in so the dogs can roam along all the paths ( or off the paths too!) without a leash. Most are several acres big and just near herning we have at least five to choose from. Albert loves them even with all the big dogs there!! Total freedom!!
I love snow! I took one of your pics from the other day and made it my desktop wallpaper!
Beautiful pictures, Kelli. Yes, winter in DK can be brutal and long, but hang in there - spring is just around the corner ;-)
What beautiful photos!!
I'm just happy that we have snow this year so it actually looks like winter! The past 2 years has just been brown grass, cold wind and damp, miserable air!
