Stonehenge

On Monday I got the chance to see something from my "Bucket List"...
something that I wanted to see during my lifetime!

You are driving along the road in the middle of nowhere and SUDDENLY, you see it!

Stonehenge....a 5000 year old mystery.... was it built as a graveyard?
or as a temple? or was it some kind of artwork? No one knows.....
But I do know one thing....Stonehenge is FREAKING AWESOME!!!

However Jess has her own theory.... Stonehenge is a capitalistic ploy to lure tourists out into the middle of England's countryside and charge them 6dollars to walk around a bunch of rocks that they SAY are 5000 years old.... My child--the cynic! :-)

And some people say they were placed there by aliens!

I have to say that I think they are pretty well scientifically proven to be 5,000 yrs old. That's old.

Your shots are amazing!

LOL - and last night she kept saying to me... "I just don't believe it." So yes, she's still convinced it's all fake!

Considering what Hollywood can make us believe, I don't blame her for being cynic! And they charge you to walk around the field? Geez- thought you could just walk around for free..I mean, how gutsy to take money from people for something you didn't create just got lucky enough to have on your property!!
