San Francisco

San Francisco is an awesome town! Easy to get around, clean, and full of so many unique things to experience! However now we completely understand why Mark Twain said that "the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco"! BRRRRR! San Fran and DK have lots in common in the weather department!

San Francisco er en flot by! Meget ren, nemt at køre omkring og fuld med så mange unikke ting for at oplevese! Dog vi kan godt forstå hvorfor Mark Twain sagde "Den koldeste vinter som jeg nogensiden oplevet var en sommer i San Francisco"! BRRRRR! San Francisco og Danmark har mange ting som er den samme i "den vejr afdeling".

We actually drove down the world's Crookedest Street. It was CRAZY!
Vi kørte faktisk ned verdens "Crookedest Street"! Det var TOSSET!

The Golden Gate Bridge is an amazing thing to see! (Do you know that it takes almost a year to paint it?!)
Den "Golden Gate" Bro er en forbløffende ting at se! (Ved man at det tager naesten et aar for a male det?!)
A trip to San Fran meant that I finally met up with my friend Lisa and her awesome family! We ate at the "Stinking Rose"...a restaurant that puts garlic in everything, including the ice cream!
En tur til San Francisco betød at jeg endelig mødte min veninde Lisa og sin vidunderlig familie! Vi spiste hos "The Stinking Rose"... en restaurant som bruger hvidløg i ALT.....inklusiv deres is!

Jess' favorite stop was at Silks Salon for birthday pedis! (And it was Mads' first pedi ever! He is now an official fan!)

Jess' yndlingssted var i Silks Salon hvor vi fik fødselsdage pedicures! (Det var Mads' første pedi! Han er nu en stor fan af pedicures!)


We got to go into the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company in Chinatown and got to watch how they make fortune cookies. And I made a new friend who was the owner of the place!

Vi gik ind til "Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company" i Chinatown og så dem laver fortune cookies.... og jeg lavede en ny ven med manden som ejer firma!

Shopping at Haight-Ashbury was a great experience...for bargains AND people watching!

Shopping på Haight-Ashbury var en stor oplevelse..... for at købe billige ting OG for at "people watch"!

Our last thing to do in San Francisco was Jess' birthday dinner at the Franciscan Crab Restaurant...right on Pier 43, overlooking the water. The view was fantastic!

Vores sidste ting at vi gjort i San Francisco var Jess' fødselsdage aftensmad i Franciscan Crab Restaurant.... på Pier 43. Udsigten var så smuk!
Next stop......Sequoia National Forest!
Vores naesten stop....Sequoia National Skov!!

My brother used to wait tables at the Stinking Rose!
It has been a long time sinced I visited San Francisco, But I love it there, it is so unique!

This is GREAT! Awesome pics and I am so happy that you are enjoying your vaca...I am also envious - San Francisco is a place I have to visit one day...it just looks co charming and cosy!
