The Lousy T-shirt- T-shirt

We've all seen t-shirts like this....you know the ones that say something about my mom went to the MOON and all she brought me back was this lousy t-shirt.... or my dad went to the top of Mt Everest and all he brought me back was this lousy t-shirt....

Well my good friend Patti (and her hubby) went on vacation recently and visited 2 places that I have on my "MUST SEE" List-- Prague, Czech Republic & Krakow, Poland, and on her way back to Denmark, she sent me a text to tell me that she was bringing me a souvenir from her trip. At first I had a vision of a shirt like this one that said something like:

"My Ex-Pat friend went to a really cool place in Europe that I have not been to before and all she brought me back was this shirt...." In fact, if she HAD bought me a shirt like that, her Danish husband might have understood her reasoning a bit more than he did of the ACTUAL gift she brought me--- which was this:

When she found this in Poland, she immediately grabbed it and said, "I HAVE to buy this for Kelli!!" And Ole just looked at her like she had lost her mind! So before I reveal what on earth it is... or more importantly, what it's for, I thought I would see if you had any guesses?? And if helps...here is another pic to show how big it is. (That is a wine bottle next to it.) So the question is, why on earth would Patti get so excited about this big ole glass jar and bring it all the way to me from Poland to Denmark?! And just so you know... I got just as excited when she showed up with it!!! (And Mads' face was just as blank as Ole's when I showed it to him!)

Yep! It's a big jar for making SUN TEA!!

Now my only dilemma is finding a day with lots of SUN!!! Easier said than done in DK!
I wonder how many that got this right are SOUTHERNERS?! Are we the only ones that make sun tea?!

I'm stumped. All I can think of is some type of canning jar, like maybe for pickles because Poland does pickles.

Now I want one too! I just discovered that the tea my grandmother drinks is perrrrfect for iced tea.

This winter - I'm thinking, put it in the windowsill, and then hang one of those artificial dun lights outside the window??
