I wonder what would happen if we, as individual people, put as much effort into making every day count as we, as a world-wide community, put into watching to see if those NUTS were right or not...... One can only imagine. As I have watched all the hullabaloo the last 48 hours, I could not help but think about my favorite song by Tim McGraw. Whether you like country music or not, I think his message transcends all musical genres and is worth a listen.

Thanks Kelli. I really enjoyed this song. Actually we are "in process" of something happening. Maybe I will post one day.
What I actually want to share is that Tim's father's family (Tug McGraw) were all from the San Francisco area, even though he was raised in Louisiana by his mother. About the time Tim met his real father Tug, I was helping Tug place his own father in a lovely senior residence in NorCal. His grandfather's brother John McGraw was already a resident. Talking to John one day he mentioned his other brother Ellsworth Francis, the doctor. I said OMG! he delivered my children! It is such a small world sometimes. Have taken an interest in Tim and Faith's music because of my 4x connection with his dad's family.
I had no idea the world was supposed to end last weekend. I guess I would have been extra shocked if it actually happend haha. Thanks to everyones facebook status today, stating they are still alive and well, I figured it out. You are right, we should all live by Tim McGraw's lyrics everyday rather than wasting energy on one hyped up weekend a year!
You're so right! Imagine if there were world-wide movements to make people happy.
Do you get American Idol? I was thinking of you when you mentioned Tim McGraw as Scotty, has been compared to him and he's only seventeen. Just curious. How was the teacher show you did for your students? Did they like it? I'm sure they did.
Listened to the song after I wrote my previous comment and it's so moving and you're right: it's something we all need to hear.
And yep, Gutsy...we are HUGE Idol fans!!!
So glad everyone enjoyed the song...it's one that inspires me every time it plays...
