Postcards from the Edge

I have a new blogger friend who has a great initiative on her blog!  HOT PINK COMBAT BOOTS AKA Michelle, American expat living in Germany, has a great knack for sharing her discoveries and experiences "over here", which is evident in her POSTCARD EXCHANGE idea!

She has offered to send a "native" postcard from her current home in Germany in exchange for a postcard from wherever it is that you live.

So now I have two things on my TO DO list---
1) Find the perfect Danish-representative postcard to send to Hot Pink Combat Boots, and
2) put this same initiative on my blog.
(Which I think this post actually takes care of!)

So here you go... if you think the idea is cool and want to receive some really cool postcards from the EDGE (well, I do ALMOST live at the edge of the North Sea!), then send me an email with your name and address! (my contact email is on my blogger profile page) It was really a treat to receive this neat postcard from Munich and read the little story that Michelle wrote in her note, especially in this day and age when all of our communication seems to be electronic! Whatever happened to the REAL version of "YOU'VE GOT MAIL"?!

Awwww.. thank you so much! The postcard exchange is such a fun and positive program. It is amazing how your blogging friends can be from all over the world -even little countries you've never heard of.

Here are the details for postcard exchange. Its super easy:

Great idea! More than even postcards, I love the idea of sending hand made cards...but then I'm crafty like that!
