What does an expat in Denmark say when a good friend moves from California to Prague?
This is so exciting that you are in Europe now.... we will have to figure out a time that we can get together even though you are still so far away. I will start watching for flights and see what we can work out in the upcoming months.
But what if the expat in DK is originally from Texas? You know, the state that is the size of 1.5 Germanys; the state in which it takes about 13 hours to drive from one end to the other....
Ahhh....that changes things completely.
Here is how THAT riddle would go:
What does an expat from Texas who is living in Denmark say when a good friend moves from California to Prague?
This is SO awesome! Jess is in town in mid-October, so how about if the 3 of us drive down for a long weekend? It's only nine hours, so we can come in on Friday the 14th and stay through the weekend!
So yeah.... we are headed to Prague today to visit Lisa, Kraig and Zach-- Europe's three newest expats, and we cannot wait! The last time we saw them was in July 2010 on "Road Trip 99" through Cali! "Isn't it a small world?", asks the Texan? :-)
(And Albert and Emmitt are JUST as happy because a road trip for us means that Ieva moves in with them for the weekend! It's a win-win for everyone!)
