Mads: Yeah, we will be driving a little more than 1600 km in nine days.
The Friend: Wow- that does not sound like a very fun way to spend your vacation.
The Friend (scratching his head).... still not quite understanding the excitement....
Mads continues: Kelli drives and I look for signs of "You might be a redneck" along the sides of the road. And the camera is always ready!

Foxworthy is fairly hilarious. I'll have to look for signs around here, but I know we can't hold a candle to Texas!
Hi, I know this post is "old", but just wanted to say that my sister and I drove from New Orleans to Austin last month (just a hop, skip and a jump) and just passed by your hometown. And I am 100% on Mads' side (with my camera at the ready :-)
