I cannot say "Super Bowl Sunday in the U.S." because one thing I have learned living in Europe... this really is a WORLD-WIDE EVENT!
I don't really care about either team that played yesterday, so I did not stay up and watch the game, especially because there is just something odd about watching it with Danish commentators and Danish commercials.
Well, actually I can handle the Danish commentators (although they cannot hold a candle to Troy Aikman!), but Denmark will NEVER surpass the US when it comes to television commercials!
Did you know that 30 seconds of ad time during the Super Bowl cost 20 million kroner? It really is a big deal to advertise during this event! It is one of those times that you DO NOT go to the bathroom during the commercials....instead you go during the game!!
I have been watching the TV-ads from yesterday's big event today (thank god for youtube!!), and I definitely have my two favorites! The first is just over a minute long... so just over 40 million kroner...
the second is almost 2 1/2 minutes! Yeah, you do the math !
However I have to admit that I feel inspired to go and buy a Chevy truck now....just in case all those crazies are right about what's coming in 2012!

Yeah I haven´t seen a super bowl in 17 years...don´t miss it...but those commercials....and yeah- thank god for you tube!!!
in norway they did not televise the game. what a freaking job. instead, they just allowed danish tv to televise it. so i was going to watch it that way until i discovered the bar beside my home was showing it...WITH cheap beer and get this....AMERICAN COMMERCIALS. it was incredible. all norwegians were talking during commercials while i was telling people to hush. they just dont get it even if they think they do ;)
Love those ads! I also enjoyed watching Madonna's huge show in half time on YouTube.
