MoMo 2.0
April 2008-- 4 Generations of the Fontenot Ladies.
Then in August of that same year, MoMo Fontenot went to heaven, leaving us with only 3 generations.....
April 2011- We are still just three generations, but one distinct difference in these two pictures is that my baby girl has grown up a LOT from the picture above, just three years earlier....
But in the last year our family has actually grown by one.... as Jess has fallen in love and found the man that she wants to spend the rest of her life with.....
But in October 2012, our three generations of Fontenot ladies will once again grow to being 4 generations..... as Jeff and Jess bring our newest family member into the world.
And the question on everyone's mind...... what on earth do they call me? :-) Grandma Kelli??? Uh, NO! Granny? Nope, as my mom has that honor. Mormor? Well, that would work if they were living in DK (which by the way, is not a bad idea!!)
So the only nature thing is that I should be "MoMo 2.0"... because my MoMo Fontenot and I had one of the most special relationships 2 people could ever have. And if I can be HALF as good of a grandma to this precious life as she was to me, then this kiddo will be the luckiest kid on the planet.
So yeah, it's official. My baby is having a baby.
And Mads and I could not be happier.

Aw! I love when I saw this on facebook and couldn't be happier for you, your daughter and your whole family. You are a wonderfully supportive mother, and know you will make a kick ass grandma, er, MoMo 2.0!
Congratulations! I know that you wish you could be there with Jess every step of the way and that it will be hard for you here, but I also know that you will do everything in your power to be the best MoMo 2.0 that there ever was!

Congratulations! My mom wanted to be called "Boo" because my youngest brother used to call her "Momma Boo". My dad chose "Sir". That way, his grandchilden can say, "Yes Sir, No Sir, etc..."

And see I thought MoMo 2.0 was like something from a rap song or something, I didn´t realize you actually had a MoMo and you´re number to...now I get it and I know like Patti said, this will be really hard for you to be over here, especially when that sweet baby is born and all MoMo 2.0 will want to do is kiss those soft baby feet and smell that sweet baby smell and see that precious baby smile...but I imagine the future we will be hearing a lot of status updates that read something like: Heading to Texas to see my grandbaby...wooohooo! Enjoy all of this my friend, you deserve it and hey....what is Mads going to be called if you´re MoMo 2.0 what will his name be? PaPa 1?? ;-))

p.s. - Last time my Husband was in Denmark from the day, he wasn't even far from where you are...I checked! They were outside of Aalborg. I'll def. have to come next time. :)
