Yes, I have been saying that for about 4 years now... ever since my arrival to Denmark! I love bikes for Sunday afternoons in the park, but not as my main mode of transportation for getting from Point A to Point B...
But every time I turn around I find that there is a Dane proving me wrong!
And then I go to the Netherlands and find out there MUST be a GIANT CONSPIRACY to prove to me and the rest of the non-biking world that BIKES CAN BE USED FOR ANYTHING that cars can be used for. Are the Danes and the Dutch in cahoots together??!!!

Maybe this is why the LA Times has confused Denmark and the Netherland 10 times in the media during the past year. ;-)
The first website was Amsterdamize the Planet. The second website was Copehagenize the Planet. Yes it is a conspiracy. They both mean use bikes as as main form of transportation worldwide.
