The Danish Summer

Denmark is not known for his great summer weather. Well at least not for CONSISTENTLY great summer weather. When it is nice, it is REALLY nice, but like all the Danish papers have been reporting lately the summers of 2011 and 2012 are some of the WORST in the last 100 years. 

HOWEVER I have to report (which includes a little apology to DK) that there have been exactly THREE FABULOUS WEEKS of SUPER AWESOME Danish summer weather this year.

Week 1 was in late May-- during one of the weeks Jess and Jeff were here. 

Week 2 was in early July--during one of the weeks Mom and Dad were here.

And Week 3 is (so the forecast says) this week---during one of Michael's first weeks living here. 

So basically my family thinks I am a big story teller because they think the Danish weather ROCKS! Right? Well, not exactly. During Jess and Jeff's trip, Jeff actually said how much he loved the weather and could ALMOST see himself living here. Jess (a girl who has visited DK during just about every single month of the year) QUICKLY set him straight and let him know that this was, indeed, a FLUKE.

However I still have to give DK a little shout-out because when you get the weather RIGHT, you really get it RIGHT! 

(And plus, don't the social scientists say that positive reinforcement causes a behavior to be REPEATED?!)
