Then if you take the awesomeness of becoming a grandparent and combine that with your daughter allowing you to be in the BIRTHING ROOM, helping her through the delivery so you actually WITNESS the birth of that new grand baby...... well, there are just no words to describe how that feels.
Yesterday (on 10/11/12) at 1:20 pm, Miss Corrie Ann Wells arrived to the world at the College Station Medical Center in College Station, Texas, and I WAS THERE!
We checked into Jess' Birthing Suite at 8pm on Wednesday night....Ready to be induced!
Watching that moment when Jess got to meet her little angel was just precious....like nothing I have ever experienced!
Corrie weighed in at 8lb, 1oz and was 20 1/4" long.
I am happy to report that the new little family is doing AWESOME!
and that as I type this on Friday night, we are all home from the hospital, so Corrie is getting to spend her second night on earth in her own house, in her own bed, safe next to her mommy and daddy.
And as for this old gal, all I can say that is that entering MoMo-hood is about the most fantastic thing I have ever experienced. Life is indeed good!

Great pictures Kell & the video! She is lucky you caught all of that :-)
CONGRATULATIONS! THrilled for you!
A big welcome to Corrie Ann and congratulations with her to all of her family - including her Momo :D
[and as a relatively new mum, I hope Jess found the whole birthing thing to be as magical as it was painful :D
Precious little ones are worth it all, though!]
How could you possibly be a grandmother at your tender age? Congratulations!

Oh, so awesome in all ways! Corrie is gorgeous.
I've already said it all over facebook a million times, but I will say it again. Congratulations! And might I add, what a birthing suite! Looks like a palace :)
