Our mom has gone home….

Today at 3:20PM with Dad by her side holding her hand, our Mom took her last breath. For 256 days she fought the fight against the horrible disease known as pancreatic cancer, but her body just could not do it any longer.

We are so incredibly thankful for these final days that we have had with her this week. Of course, it was a blessing that we were allowed to have a chance to say our goodbyes, but it was even more of a blessing that we were able to physically minister to her frail body. Lifting her and massaging her and dressing her and taking care of whatever physical needs she had…. all things that she had done for us as her daughters, and now we were allowed to do those things for her. These were some of the most precious moments of our lives that we will never forget.

We are meeting with the funeral home tomorrow morning to make the arrangements for the service, and we are also planning a CELEBRATION OF LIFE reception out here at Heritage Ranch. As soon as we have dates and times for these, we will post the information here as we know that there are so many of you that will want to be a part of those special events.

Thank you all for what you have done for our family…..of course for the way you have taken such great care of us this week, but even more for the way that you have LOVED OUR MOM for all these years. We only pray that we can always be an extension of her and make her proud.

Love,
Kelli & Jennifer

I am so very very sorry, Kelli.

My mom died of breast cancer in 2006. Like you, I was able to get back from Denmark in time to say good-bye.

Rest in peace.
